Meet Korry Franke

A husband to Jen and a father to Reagan, longtime airline captain and Penn State graduate Korry Franke has spent his career leading teams and making high-stakes decisions where preparation, judgment, collaboration, and trust matter most. He is also the author of the leadership memoir 3 Feet to the Left: A New Captain’s Journey from Pursuit to Perspective.

Born in the mountains of Pennsylvania’s Huntingdon County and raised in the farmlands of Franklin County, Korry moved to Northampton County in 2006 and quickly made it home. Since being elected to the Northampton County Republican Committee in 2018, Korry has served in several leadership roles, including as the Nazareth/Bushkill Area Chairman and Vice-Chairman.

Korry’s reputation as a leader worth trusting extends beyond his work as a 737 captain and Line Check Pilot. At his church in Bethlehem, he serves as the Lead Financial Deacon, helping guide families through financial challenges and supporting responsible stewardship within the congregation. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit United We Care Employee Relief Fund.

Korry believes politics is ultimately about helping people improve their lives, achieve their dreams, and prepare the future to better serve our children. Policies are simply the tools we use to achieve those ends. Of course, policies have real consequences, and some policies work significantly better than others. That’s why Korry is a staunch advocate for Republican principles.

To actually implement Republican principles, Republicans must win elections at every level across the Commonwealth. That requires innovation in reaching voters as well as disciplined execution of campaign mechanics. Korry is running for Republican State Committee to bring a storyteller’s creativity and a pilot’s discipline and team-first leadership to the PA GOP. Learn more about Korry’s Goals.
